JOHN CHIH-CHUNG LIN

Currently based in Taiwan, where I mainly create industrial design and user experiences at HP Inc.

In addition, I also run StudioWonderworks - a personal workshop for side projects. Before starting my studio, I gained valuable experience working at Pilotfish, a well-known European design consultancy, as a design lead at Optoma, where I created a home theater product experience combined with innovative technologies.

I specialize in all stages of industrial design, from concept to production, design strategy, UX research, and conducting "design thinking" workshops to aid in developing innovative solutions. A prime example of my work is the “Optoma CinemaX P1”, a hero product I oversaw during my tenure at Optoma. The product received consecutive design awards from iF, Red Dot, Good Design, and CES Innovation and helped to reshape the brand's perception in the home entertainment market.

Combining my expertise in industrial design with strong interpersonal skills, I have had the privilege of serving as a visiting lecturer for graduate design projects at Asia University and the National Taipei University of Education. Before starting my career as a designer, I pursued a Master of Design degree at the National Taipei University of Technology and earned a BDes from Ming Chuan University.
