Taiwan's historical and cultural characteristics inspire the design concept of this dovetail bench conveyed from various levels in this work, from a mundane piece of feature to a more significant element of architecture. The most delicate carpentry skill, this work also renews the public's interest in this sunset industry to further promote this almost obsolete craftsmanship. Dovetail showcases Taiwan's past from its outer appearance, but its underlying significance also reminds us of the undeniable but often forgotten experience of the Taiwanese culture.
